Shuttle xpc/hard drive problems

I have a shuttle xpc, bought it in October of '08 and after barely 2 months, it wouldn't read the (Seagate) hard drive, we thought it was a bad one and replaced it with another seagate and after a week, the same problem. It freezes, we reboot and then it won't read the hard drive.. just goes to the screen that says "windows failed to start" & asks how you want to start windows (safe mode, normally, ect.). HD seems to work fine on our other computer. What could be the problem?

Re: Shuttle xpc/hard drive problems

Could definitely be the motherboard. Also try changing out HDD cables and see if that helps make the computer see the HDD.
