WD1600 question about format and files
Hi guys,
I bought today Western Digital My Passport Essential 160GB as a gift for my girlfriend's birthday, I also want to fill it with series/movies etc. for her as an extra gift ;) ,so I pluged in the drive and there are many files on it already : autorun folder documentation folder wd_windows_tools folder wdsync folder autorun , jstart, setup ,wdinstaller, wdsetup, wdsync, my question is : can I just format the drive/delete all those files without any harm ? I mean will it be detected and work normal on other computers - my gf computer? (without any download of drivers from wd website etc. - my gf is even more green when it comes to computers then me :P ) Thanks for Your help |
