Replacing Drives in Raid on a Dell 4600 Server
I have a drive failure in a Dell 4600 server, with raid 5, drive 8 has failed and the drive is damaged. I have several drives of the same from another server, If I replace with a used drive that has data on it will the raid reinitize it and rebulid wipeing out the old data. I don't care if it does, just wanted to make make sure the old data will not cause an issue.
