Setting Up New PC

Ok, now i'm lost. I'm helping my friend out with 2 computers he is building for christmas presents.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820144209

The problem that we are running into is that lousy windows xp of course has not built in scsi drivers. I didn't even think about it when buying, but this barebone doesn't even support a floppy drive. So i then tried this method (http://news.softpedia.com/news/Insta...F6-47807.shtml).

Unfortunately, now i can't even find the drivers anywhere! Help would be appreciated.

Edit
Now i am also reading reviews on this drive and seeing that it needs hardcore bios updates out of the box. But once again, I wouldn't even be able to do that without installing windos first with no floppy.

Re: Setting Up New PC

just set the sata controller in the bios to IDE mode ............. it will make the sata controller run as an IDE controller until you get windows installed ........ the sata controller drivers will install when you run the motherboard CD driver disk and install the motherboard chipset drivers ................

Re: Setting Up New PC

or you can do the REALLY sharp way ............... use your windows CD to make a better windows version by using Nlite and slipstream (add/intergrate) service pack 3 to your windows CD .......... the new result will have sata drivers that will make your system load just fine .....................
