Which kind of Hard Drive?
Hi. I am looking at buying an External Hard Drive. To be used mainly with a Divx Player that supports USB. My question is should I be looking at Bus Powered HD's or HD's with AC adapter. Also any recommendations would be v helpful.
Many thanks in advance. MickeddeMickMik |

Re: Which kind of Hard Drive?
IMHO you're always better plugging into an AC socket, if you can. Why tax your computer's power, when you can get it from an alternate source. If the drive was used in a mobile situation, it'd be different and there would be times that it would come in handy to not have to plug in.
