OS: XP MEDIA CENTRE

Need A Bigger Hard Drive.
I have a Sony Vaio vgn-n11m laptop os is XP Media Centre, 1.6 Gh with 2gb ram, Intel Duel Core Prossessor.with an 80gb hard drive.
It's about 3 years old. I have loads of music and photos; amongst a thousand and one other things, needless to say the poor thing is getting slower and slower. I was wondering how easy it would be to install a bigger hard drive, how big could I go and could I do the job myself. If it is possible, how would I go about it and what hard drive would you recommend? I have done all the obvious things deleted tifs, Disc Cleanup, Defrag (I have Diskeeper) I think I need more space. |
