Hard drive shows twice as much space is used than true value
I have a 250gb WD hard drive. When i right click properties on the drive it says i only have ~6gb free. Everest is reading that it is 250gb and that i only have 6gb free, same with disk management. However, i know for a fact that i have not used this much space. if i open up the C:/ drive and highlight all the folders and click properties it says that its only ~130GB, which is accurate. Where did the other half of my hard drive space go and why wont windows let me use it? I am up to date on drivers and service packs and such(im running xp). what gives?
