transferring data from a loose hard drive to an external?
Hello,
I just bought a WD Passport and am hoping to transfer the data from my old Dell Inspiron 5150 onto it so that I can then access it with my Macbook. The Dell does not turn on anymore, but the hard drive is in fine working order... I've been told I can make it happen, but I have no details on the process. How can I go about transferring the data over? Also, is there an issue with formatting the external for PC first and then switching it to Mac? I've already formatted it for my mac... Thanks! |
