Western Digital HDD issue
I have a 500GB western digital caviar SATA HDD that only shows up as 127GB. Anyone know a reason as to why? Any help is much appreciated.

To get help, it's required that you give us all the system spec's that you can. That will make it much easier to diagnose your problem.
It does sound like you don't have LBA set in the bios for your HD.

Re: Western Digital HDD issue
Nevermind, I figured it out there were some hidden partitions on it and I used a hard drive utility to repartition it. But another question, the drive is picky for some reason. It will show up on my windows sometimes and then sometimes it wont. Any ideas?
