Mistake Help!! My western Digital my book premium II died

Ok so i have this external 2 500 gib hards drive enclosure that failed on me. When the drives were in the enclosure it was set up to have a capacity of 1TB they were raided in such a way that it came up on my computer as one 1tb harddrive...when i pluged it in it would say that it needed to be formatted. A friend of mine reccommended that i pull drive one out and install it in my pc and see if i could get the data off that way. when i hooked it up to my pc (via raid sata card i have) it did not show up on my computer just as unallocated space on the disk management. he reccommended i use partition magic to fix the partition and the hard drive would work again.... well it doesnt...... it now shows up on my computer but says it needs to be formatted. I am at my witts end on this... i just put all my photos of my son on this thing... from birth to now... and now i cant get to any of it... PLEASE HELP!!!!!

i have only removed and hooked up the harddrive labled A... because i only had 250gb of data on them... so i am guessing all the data would be on the 1st drive??

i have read the stickeys and am attaching some screen shots from test disk

the hard drive is a WD5000aaks

after pressing quick search this is what i get

see if this helps
Have you "lost" a hard drive, partition or files in your computer?
