Problem with partitions
Hello, I had a dual boot (Vista & Ubuntu) and I made an extra partition for my personal files with Acronis, right after that both operating systems took a long time to load and I thought I should reinstall Ubuntu since it was having sound problems anyway but when I put the installation CD it didn't show any partitions.
Using Acronis again I deleted the Linux partitions and formatted them but Ubuntu still shows just a single space and at times not even that. I downloaded TestDisk but I really don't know how to use it, I followed this thread (Have you "lost" a hard drive, partition or files in your computer?) and I got the following results: 1. Analyse Analyse_0.jpg 2. QuickSearch QuickSearch_0.jpg Windows is where the system is. Presario is said to be a recovery partition. MS is the Swap Memory I made for Ubuntu, I supposedly deleted it. Ubuntu is where the Ubuntu installation was, I supposedly deleted that one also. Archivaldo is where all my archives are stored. Is there any way I can fix it?. |
