Pin out on hard disk
I have an old 40GB IDE hard drive with some family photos/videos on and one of the 40 pins has been pulled out following a botched attempt at straightening it (don't ask!) - is there a way to retrieve the data and how much would it cost?

Re: Pin out on hard disk
You may be able to retrieve that data without it costing a penny. Depends on which pin was actually pulled out. Can you say which pin it was? They count as follows on the male end:
39 --------------- 1 40 --------------- 2 Last edited by seriouschat; 11-05-2008 at 03:54 PM. |
