samsung hard drive...HELP
I have a sumsung HD320KJ sata hard drive and i loaded Xp Pro 64bit, the system worked great for a bit then the PC crashed and when i go to re-format the thing with XP home 32 bit (genuine copy) it will not load the OS system, the start screen of Xp pro comes up but then the thing just stops. I have checked BIOS and it is set to first boot from CD/DVD, so it should start to reformat... but it wont. I understand that there are settings to make it either the master or the slave, but dont seem able to find them. anyone got any help for me..thanks steve
