Corrupt western digital

Ill get straight to the point, are there any programs out there that would be able to tell me which sectors are corrupt and which are not? as i am able to read and write files on some areas of the disk and i would liek to fins an area large enough to install windows xp or if thats not possible a very small linux distro.

My suggestion for you would be to download the Western Digital "Data Lifeguard" utility from the WD website and see if it can repair the drive for you.
