Swapping C and D drives

I have a Sony Vaio and the C drive only has 15GB while the D drive has 100GB. As you can imagine the C drive is loaded up in no time while the D drive is virtually empty. The guys at Circuit City told me this is a common problem with the VAIO and that I need to switch the Drives. I am somewhat an idiot with computers when it comes to this kind of thing. How do I switch these drives so that I don't have to worry about running out of memory?

Re: Swapping C and D drives

and welcome to the Forum

Switching the drives would be quite a chore . . you would have to reinstall the Operating System . . however, you can redirect the "My Documents" folder to the D drive and it will move the files there.

Right click on My Documents . . Select Properties . . in the next screen, you will see the option to move the destination . . browse to the D drive and when it asks if you want to move the files also, click yes
