HDD Error, HD not detected
HI everyone!
I have got two HD in my PC. The 16GB primary HD with Windows XP (which is still working fine) and a 40GB HD (Maxtor 4D040H2. Suddenly my 40GB HD was not detected anymore by my BIOS. (HDD Error) The HD is not accessible via the diskmanager in Windows. What I have tried already:
There is some quite important data on this disk. Is there anything else I could try? Maybe updating the HD firmware somehow? Thanks for your help in advance! best regards |
