Harddrive Backup Solution
Hi,
I have to setup a "server" for a friends shop. He was asking me whether the following is possible. The server will contain e.g. 3 HD. The 1st HD will be shared so that all the employees can access the HD and HAVE to store their work e.g. psd files on that shared HD. The 2nd HD should automatically (daily) backup the data from the 1st HD and the 3rd HD backup the data from the 2nd HD automatically. Furthermore, he wants the 2nd/3rd HD password protected so that only authorized staff can access it from the local machine. Is there any solution on how to solve that problem? P.S: The "server" should be running Windows Server 2003. thanks. |
