External Harddrive
Hello Everybody,
I bought a new hard disk to my HP zv5000 laptop. I installed WinXP and Ubuntu. Now I'd like to copy my data from old hard disk to my new hard disk. Unfortunately, none of the system see the external hard disk. Windows shows that there is usb pluging in, but doesn't show any hard disk in the explorer. How can I fix/test this problem under Win or Linux system? Would appreciate any help, since there is a PhD thesis on the old disk which i need within 5 days...... HELP
