External isnt being seen?
After trying to install a OS to my external, I later find my kernel didn't match it. My hardrive is a " <instert word for setting a harddrive to install a OS on> !"
I'm not sure how to reset it, or reinstall. I guess you can say when i turn it on, it doesnt even show in "My computer", because it thinks its a broken operating system and wont do anything at all. How can I remove <instert that word again> so I can use it as my external harddrive ![]() I'm sorry I cant think of the word. It's when you install an OS, and you have to set your drive to a _______ so it can have a OS installed on it. More information on drive I did a uninstall driver so it reloads it, and in the safely remove hardware, it says Seagate External Harddrive USB Device at Location 0. Volumes Populate: Status = Not Initialized, Partition STyle = Not applicable. Last edited by Killa-X; 09-23-2008 at 02:01 PM. |
