Selecting IDE

Hello,
I can't make my principal HDD (the one on which Windows is installed) be the Primary IDE Master. It is automatically selected as Third IDE Master.
So... how do I do so it becomes my Primary?
Thanks

Re: Selecting IDE

Check that the Ide connector is connected to the PRIMARY connector on the Motherboard.

Re: Selecting IDE

It is connected to the primary IDE.
I forgot to give some informations, its a SATA HDD and a Asus P5AD2-E Motherboard.

Here is a diagram of my motherboard and showing where is connected.

Thanks

Re: Selecting IDE

Please provide clairty is I am not answering what you need to know. Go to the bios setup menu and when there, migrate to the Boot area. Go to the Hard Drive Priority (some motherboards call it something else) and make sure your Sata Hard Drive is listed FIRST in that area. I am not talking about the boot order, but the Hard Drive Priority.
