sata hd gateway issue
ok hello all nice meet you
ok i got a gatway from a friend and put in new sata hd. put in win xp pro did a reformat then installed windows. when it rebooted to finishin window install nothing happens after reboot just stops blank screen. so i try to reformat again and i get press any keey to boot from cd so i did then it say setup is config your system for install after that no reponce cdro still running but nothing happening  what am i missing here or failing to set up in setup this pc only runs sata.the only ide controls are cdrom and dvd.
