Mistake Re: Hard Drive Help Needed

hi my motherboard is most probably via p4m800ce and i hav win xp installed in my system


my problem is, i was working with my pc, then its stopped respond, wen i restarted my pc using restart switch, n after that it says BOOT DISK FAILURE ..............

i thot my OS crashd , then i try to install xp again but it says no hard drive found.
i went to bios n found my sata is disabled , i enabled it n got everything workd:D

but that problem happens again. n i keep doing this to fix problem.
but my q is y it happens, is thr any way to fix this problem permanently.
plz help me

Hi,

Not sure what is going on with your rig, but your English is fine. If it is not holding the settings and you Save Before You Exit as you should, then try another motherboard battery and see if that helps. If not, we can look at other possible issues, but with this one am kind of limited on options. Post back with questions/concerns.
