[SOLVED] Recovering OE mail from Slave Hard Drive?
I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this, I don't know where this falls under.
I'm extracting a bunch of files off a HD with a damaged Windows. However, I have no idea how to extract all the emails (sent & recieved) that were previously on Outlook Express? Any help (if its possible) would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. |

Re: Recovering OE mail from Slave Hard Drive?
Hi,
If you didn't move the MAIL storage folder from the default, you should be able to find it in: (This is for XP) C:\Docments and Settings\<your user name>\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\<large number>\Microsoft\Outlook Express\ If it says it is empty (the large number folder), search for Outlook Express in the Application data folder. Re: [SOLVED] Recovering OE mail from Slave Hard Drive?
I'm not sure why but I had to do a search in Documents and Settings to find it.
The mail is in the Outlook express folder. Paul
