Greetings
I bought my 250 Gb Passport External Hard Drive and found this space-obtaining, annoying WDsync software. This software syncronizeses with the pc and then cryptizeses the files. This is useless to me, as I would like to just drag-and-drop my files. Will I be able to do this by deleting the software? (I read a closed post here that concluded YES - but any comments on this short conclusion?) And what is the way to deleting the software? - simply deleting all files on my external harddrive or any more sophisticated methods? Thanks for your kind replys, you kind people! -pederaske |

Re: Deleting WDsync and all included software in a Passport External Hard Drive
Thx for your very quick reply!
Sounds good, though I am a bit anxious that it meybe wont work. But thinking 'bout it there should not be anything dangerous about it? No risk of the drive not working without the software? |

Re: Deleting WDsync and all included software in a Passport External Hard Drive
Of course it will work.
The WDsync files are just files with the extra autorun file. Deleting it is like deleting anything else. There is absolutely nothing dangerous about formating the hard drive. I've done it to my external drive myself, also WD. |
