How to make SATA HDD Primary?

Hi,

I have a MSI K8N Neo4 Plat. mobo and I'm trying to make my jumperless Hitachi Deskstar 7K80 be recognized as Primary Drive. I have it plugged into SATA 1slot. It's working fine, but just looking for perfection

Thanks in advance for any response.

Re: How to make SATA HDD Primary?

If you have the OS On it or are installing the OS on it, be sure in the Boot area of the bios setup menu, that you have the Hard Drive Priority set with that drive first. Then, when you set up the boot order, then it should appear first in that area as the boot drive. Hope that is what you were asking, because I was not sure if that is what you were looking for.
