Grin Create Bad sectors

This seems like a really wierd thing to do but i want something,a program to create bad sectors on a old harddrive. I have a program that is suppose to fix bad sectors and i want to see how well it works

Drop the HDD on the floor from ½-1 meter's height.
That will, of course, damage the drive permanently.

I was more wanting it to be still physically working so i could use it but i get some errors then i could try my program

adding and removing files constantly over a week might do it. Try installing and uninstalling on the drive too.

Bad sectors are physical errors on the HDD - not corrupted files.
They can't be created or cured by software, though some programs (e.g. chkdsk) can mark them so Windows won't use those sectors.

I know, Id have thought extreme use would accelerate the incursion of errors though. As with time errors creep onto most disks.
