can i replace an ATA hard drive with an SATA?
i was just wondering if i could replace my old IDE/ATA hard drive with a SATA hard drive?

Only if you have SATA connectors on your motherboard or if no connectors you install a sata card

i need to do it on a laptop. is there any way i can replace the connectors in a laptop with SATA connectors?

I am not sure if there would be room for a converter in a laptop, i have only seen them for desktops.
