[SOLVED] HD bad geometry error 1h63s
I'm trying to combine two partitions but get "bad geometry error 1h63s". I have one 30GB IDE and a SATA 360GB. The 30GB has one Active Primary the 360GB has three primary and four logical drives. All FAT 32.
Both hard drives work perfectly. Either can be booted using WinXp Pro if I choose. The problem is that the partition programs I have tried to use say my 360GB is bad and won't try to repartition it. I really don't want to back-up 320GB of data and repartition from scratch. Is there a way I can change the 360GB HD so I can get, for instance, Partition Magic 8 to recognize it?. |
