new hard drive not showing up.
Added a 120 GB maxtor hard drive along with my 30 GB hard drive from Dell. The hard drive shows up in my hardware list, but not in my memory. Would have thought it would list it as another drive such as an E or F drive. How do I get it to show up and give me the extra memory.

Re: new hard drive not showing up.
Go to the control panel and open up administrative tools and then computer management. Double click on the storage option and then choose disk management. This should list all the drives that windows detects, does it show both drives in here? With the storage devices control you can format and mount the drive i believe. Give that a shot.
