Complete Hard Drive Wipe

How do I completley nuke my hard drive leaving behing only the OS and the files of my choice?

You can't completly nuke the drive and save some files.
What are you trying to do?

Restore the Computer to out of the box condition. Or just completeley delete everything except the OS and whatever it needs to run.

Do you have the recovery disks?
Are you having some kind of problem with the PC?

No big problems, I'd just like to start over, get all the crap out.

The disks that came with the computer from which you load the operating system and the drivers, Or on some OEM's there is a recovery partition on the hard drive.
What brand and model do you have?
