I think my slave HD died.
Just randomly, nothing seemed wrong...
But now when I turn my computer on it says something like "IDE H.D.D not found" or something...can't remember exactly...then says theres not enough memory to "initialize windows" and wants to close something and restarts my computer. But then if I take my slave HD out..it run perfectly fine, but I lose all the information and data I keep on my slave, which is pretty much everything cept for a couple installs on my C drive. Anything I can do to get the info out? |

Re: I think my slave HD died.
Hi,
"Borrow" the cables, data + power, from the CD drive and try starting the computer with the slave HDD as the only drive on that cable. Remove the jumper if it's a Western Digital HDD. |
