[SOLVED] IDE via USB?
Hey,
My PC has both SATA and IDE connections. I have a 2GB IDE hard drive from a windows 95 (I know...my flash drive is bigger). The main hard drive on the pc is 120GB with XP Pro. I wanted to install Ubuntu on the 2GB drive. The problem is, there is no expansion bay in the pc, and I didn't see any extra space inside. Is there a way that I could use the 2GB drive externally via USB? I've heard of external HD casings, but I didn't really want to buy a case that probably is more expensive than the drive itself. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated! -Walt |
