Secondary drive on BIOS not showing in Windows OR Disk Management
Hi,
My PC froze during a Bitdefender virus scan, and my only resolve was to hit the reset button, as nothing else would work. Bitdefender was busy scanning my secondary drive at the time. After my PC booted up again, my secondary drive was gone from Windows. I rebooted again, still nothing. Then I shut down, left it off for about a minute, said an urgent prayer, started up again, entered BIOS, and there it was. Exited BIOS, started up Win XP, drive was still missing. Next I went to drive management (right-clicked on My Computer and selected Manage > Disk Management), but the drive was not there either. The only drives listed was my original C drive and DVD drive. Nothing has changed inside the box, and the configurations worked perfectly before, so I have not opened the box yet. So, in short, my problem is that the secondary drive shows up in BIOS but not on My Computer OR Disk management - but it has before. ![]() Please help urgently! Thanks, Chris |
