I have just upgraded my computer with an S-series M/b AMD Socket AM2, which has 4 SATAII Ports. My HDD is 500gb SATAII, I also have a SATA Optical drive. My question is which of the 4 Ports do I hook into? Many Thx

Welcome to TSF.

It doesn't matter which SATA port you choose.
If you use port 1 for CD/DVD and port 2 for HDD the boot order should be OK, otherwise you can change that in BIOS.
