Error code wdc wd800bevs-22rst0-(s1) on an Acer Aspire 3100. Any Ideas?

Yes, back up everything immediately, because if you get a S.M.A.R.T. error, that drive is going to die very, very soon. I would get another drive in there as a slave and clone that baby before it dies if it is still operational.
