Hard Drive Problems! BIG TIME!

Ok I have a bear bone system, that I build my self. Here is my problem ever so often when I reset my computer my Hard drive is not seen by the machine, I also have a removable drive that I have to unplug when I reset for some reason the computer wont load with that plugged in. I have no idea whats wrong with my machine at this point its a very new drive that I got last April. I is seen in the bios when it wants to be seen tho. most of the time my motherboard will just load and thats it, I did also recently get a error in a windows file that fixed it self with a "CHKDSK" I don't think I have any viruses I run "spybot search and destroy" often as well. Need Help bad anyone with ideas please let me know

Re: Hard Drive Problems! BIG TIME!

Welcome to TSF.

Sounds like the system has a power problem.

Include the system specifications in your next post.

Re: Hard Drive Problems! BIG TIME!

Try another cable.

New PSU? That's impossible to answer without knowing what's in the computer.
