Re: sata drive not in bios
You have to access Bois on post (the post splash screen should have a message saying press F1 or F8 or some other key combo to enter set up) that is commonly known as the Bios set up there you will have to set your Sata controller to IDE mode in order to install Windows along with the Sata drivers when prompted to press F6.

Sorry about the delay, but i had to install my new pc on the ide drive rather than the sata one. but my bios revision number is 0703
my MB rev is 1.01 G. it did actually find the sata drive and i thought it'd installed the drivers but when i rebooted the system it crashed windows Last edited by dai; 06-19-2008 at 06:04 PM. |

Re: sata drive not in bios
i decided to put it on the ide drive as no matter what i tried, i couldn't get windows to install to the sata. i tried streamlining the sata drivers from the MB disk and it still didn't work. sorta wishing i didn't spend the £90 now
