SCSI Hard drive being detected as DVD/CD Rom Drive

Hello,

Good day/night to all.

I just want to ask, because my scsi hard disk is detected during setup, but when windows load up, it is being detected as a DVD/CD Rom drive. Before, the SCSI hard disk is my primary hard drive, but when I bought a new IDE Hard disk, I've loaded windows XP into the IDE Hard drive, but when I fnished the setup, it only recognize the SCSI Hard disk as a DVD/CD Rom drive.

What should I do so that windows will detect my SCSI Hard disk as a Hard disk and not a DVD/CD Rom drive.

By the way here are the list of some componenets on my PC:
1pc IDE hard disk
1pc DVD Combo drive
1pc DVD Rom Drive
1pc 512mb pc3200ddr
1pc NVIDIA GFORCE FX

Go into your SCSI Adapter setup (not WinXP, the card setup) and disable it as a boot device.

is it in the bios setup or in the windows control panel? can you provide me a detailed instruction.. i would really i appreciate it.. thanks in advance..
