Hello,
Good day/night to all. I just want to ask, because my scsi hard disk is detected during setup, but when windows load up, it is being detected as a DVD/CD Rom drive. Before, the SCSI hard disk is my primary hard drive, but when I bought a new IDE Hard disk, I've loaded windows XP into the IDE Hard drive, but when I fnished the setup, it only recognize the SCSI Hard disk as a DVD/CD Rom drive. What should I do so that windows will detect my SCSI Hard disk as a Hard disk and not a DVD/CD Rom drive. By the way here are the list of some componenets on my PC: 1pc IDE hard disk 1pc DVD Combo drive 1pc DVD Rom Drive 1pc 512mb pc3200ddr 1pc NVIDIA GFORCE FX Hope someone can hel me out here, thanks in advance |

Re: SCSI Hard drive being detected as DVD/CD Rom Drive
Go into your SCSI Adapter setup (not WinXP, the card setup) and disable it as a boot device.
