[SOLVED] Hard Drive Switched Letters on Me!!

i own a seagate freeagent external hard drive that i recently had to disconnect temporarily. When I reconnected the device, it's drive letter changed from "F" to "H" and stays that way no matter which USB port I plug it into. Normally this wouldnt bother me, but a great deal of the programs I run depend on getting their information from the external hard drive at "F", and they will not run properly if the drive is assigned improperly.
I tried going went to disk management to solve the problem but when i try to change the drive letter for the freeagent drive, F does not come up as an option. In fact, as i scroll down the list of drives, F isnt even present. It goes straight from E to G. However on the "my computer" screen drive F does show up. What the hell is going on?

Re: Hard Drive Switched Letters on Me!!

There's an F: drive (CD) and a G: drive (DVD) in the second screenshot.
If they are virtual drives - uninstall the software used to create them.
