Copy home hard-drive to external drive
Looking for suggestions... Preparing for divorce
Is there a way to copy/duplicate home computer data and software to an external hard-drive so it can be transferred to a new computer after divorce??? Currently have a dell desktop 80GB running XP Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated & thank you in advance!!! |

Re: Copy home hard-drive to external drive
you cannot copy software - Since its a new computer you will have to purchase the software then reinstalled unless you are planning to delete it from the old computer.
you can move your data. Just move it over in windows explorer.
