I lost my HDD partition

I have 80 GB samsung HDD with 7200 rpm. during reinstallation of OS (Windows Xp), the secondary and logical prtition only Primary partition is active. My PC Bios show HDD volume equal to my Primary partition I want recover my old parition and data on it
