Re: Windows xp not recognizing my hard drive after using DBAN
Alright so that didnt work....
I got that Lifeguard Tools run and it said the drive was partitioned and formatted and to put in the OS Disc and restart. widows setup loaded and I hit enter to start the install and when it came time to select the drive to install it still says: "Unknown Disk <There is no disk in this drive>" So I hit C again to try and sneak by but it obviously doesnt work and gives me the stop error... reads as so: A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to you computer. The problem seems to be cause by the following file: setupdd.sys PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA (blah blah blah blah) Technical Information: *** STOP: 0x00000050 (0xE5133708, 0x00000000, 0xF75979A8, 0x00000002) *** setupdd.sys - Address F75979A8 base at F7570000, Datestamp 41107c8f So yeah still stuck any help would be great! |
