Hi I would first check your BIOS settings that enable the RAID controller and then choose the type (RAID or ATA). I do this then I can see the prompts while the PC is booting and it tells me what keys to use (ctrl-g) I believe. If your BIOS is not set then maybe your controller is not working and the keys will not work. Then there is the fact that I had to use a floppy while installing windows to get drivers for windows to see the device. As far as setting it up after windows is installed, I am not sure if it works properly??
Let me know whats happening OK IMAO RAID is quite a bit of trouble to use. Have heard a lot of negatives about this setup. Do you plan to put OS on it?? Regards. |
