Cry secondary ide drive problems

I have a p4 computer that I used for a few years. In bios setup it detects that I have a 80GB hd on the secondary hd controller. In windows XP it was listed as D: drive, but when I check the property on the drive, it shows that the drive has no data on it and does not show the capacity of the hd. I checked it with format, it only shows 7.62 GB capacity. The hd is in very good condition and has some data on it, as I checked it on the primary ide controller. Can anyone explain to me what is wrong with my computer? Greatly appreciated.

Re: secondary ide drive problems

Please post a screenshot of Disk management.
(Right click "My computer" > choose "Manage" > Disk Management)

How to post a screenshot.

Also - if possible, run chkdsk on the D: drive.
