[SOLVED] New HDD not recognized in WIndows

I just added two SATA drives to my system, but I don't really know how to install them. I explored my motherboard cd to install the SATA or Raid or something, but the installation fails stating "No Gigabyte GBB36X
SCSI adapter found!..."

Re: New HDD not recognized in WIndows

Hi,

Look in Disk Management (Right click "My computer" > choose "Manage" > Disk Management).
Can you see the drives there?

If so, right click the drive(s) >> select "New partition" and follow the wizard.

Re: New HDD not recognized in WIndows

I thought that the problem was simple, but I had no clue about what I was doing.
