Red Faced Detecting IDE drives...

Hi

Today, I switced on my computer and it displays (detecting IDE drives...) and doesnot proceed further. I even tried to enter BIOS setup to check the settings by clicking DEL key and it's not working. I suspect it is not able to detect hard drives. I have Win Xp sp 2. Can you please help me out?

Re: Detecting IDE drives...

Hold that DEL key down and don't let up until you get in to the bios setup menu. Some are stubborn, so you may have to try it several times. When you get in there, turn your Raid off. Please also post specs for your rig.
