How can I read a 1.8 in hard drive

Latly I've been using an archos 604 as just an external hard drive and it died on me recently. So I was wondering if there was anyway for me to access whats on it Here are some pics I took real quick so you guys can get an idea of what I'm talking about. I think its a 1.8 hard drive.

Get a Hard Drive Enclosure.
I'm curious, what is wrong with your 604?
Thanks for the pics of the insides. Brought the 604 Wifi, gonna open this bad boy up... thinking of adding a bigger hard drive.

Re: How can I read a 1.8 in hard drive

I think it might just be a dead battery. Usually when you power it on you'll see the the archos logo but instead the screen just flashes and shuts off. I just ordered a new battery but in case the that isn't the problem I'm looking for a back up plan. Where can I find an enclosures for hard drive this size. I've only seen ones for 2.5'' and 3.5'' HDD's

Toshiba and Hitachi drives are different. This product works for the Toshiba drive. Good luck.
