Please help!!

Hey guys i'm new here..

and im quite a noob with computers, so i thought i would ask some of you pros to help me out..

As title states i cant seem to open my hdd's with your normal double clicks, it comes up as "choose your program you want to use to open this file"

and also i dont know how but i seem to get this msg also saying "sal.xls.exe" is missing or corrupt..

its kinda complicating and its really frustrating for me..

if you guys could help me that would be great..

Thanks!

Re: Please help!!

Hello and welcome to the forum

When did this behavior start? . . did you install or uninstall any software prior to it starting to do this?

Have you tried a system restore to a date prior to this starting?

What are the details of your system?

Re: Please help!!

How many antivirus programs do you have installed now? Have you tried a system restore to a date prior to installing the antivirus programs?

Click on Start . . Help and Support . . type System Restore and it will lead you thru the process.

Then install an antivirus!
