It gets to 'verifying dmi pool data', then goes to 'boot from cd', then 'boot from cd failure press enter to continue'. i unplugged my second hard drive and everything is back to normal.. does this mean my hard drive is dead or is missing something or ? i wouldnt worry bout it except i have photos on there i didnt back up and cant replace so hoping to get them back.. hopefully someone can help....plzzz |

Re: Verifying dmi pool data hard drive?
davey, tell us how you have them hooked up:
> Which IDE connector (assuming they are both ide drives)? > What brand names are each drive? > How do you have the jumpers set on each drive on that cable? > Where on the ribbon cable is each drive (master/slave/cable select, etc)?
