Disk read error[MOVED FROM WINDOWS]
Hie
My Desktop fujistu seimens, operationing sys installed is windows xp professional, when booting to reachs a point where it states: verifying DMI Pool data......... Boot from CD: then after sometime time an error message disk read error ocurred The computer is detecting the hard drive, the cdrom drive. even if i press F8 to enter safe mode or instert windows setup disk to boot from it still read the same error. I wanted to try fixboot but could not have access to go to repair console using the windows setup disk. i have tried to flash the cmos battery and remove for a while but no avail. |

I have observe that the hard disk smarting thing is disabled, on this machine. How do i enable it. I fail to locate where i enable it in the setup menu or cmos setup, please assist me. thanks
